Not all Japanese companies will make you miserable. I worked for 2 different companies so far. The first was amazing, but they didn't want to hire a foreign engineer permanently. The second was nice too, but the pay was subpar.
I work at a Japanese company and work from home and have nice salary, good PTO, and zero overtime. Not every Japanese company is the same 😂😂

I think that the thing with foreign phone numbers has something to do with the roaming. I don't know that i did, but i could register in the app of docomo with my phone number from Chile, and i remember that the roaming was something that i did touch 😅 (i received the SMS with the code)

The only true hardcore is coming from Japan. Their culture lacks the jaded pretension and bloat of American bands. The Japanese purity, humility, and authenticity comes through in their music.
